Contribute to society by playing a role
in the lifestyle, culture,
and information industries,
while building good relationship
with all those involved.
Kyodo Printing Co., Ltd. was founded in 1897 and celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2022. Since our founding, we have expanded our business on the core competence of our printing technology and have been committed to the development of society and culture with the support of our customers, shareholders, local communities, and other stakeholders.
Today, we are faced with a variety of social issues, including the diversification of people's lifestyles, safe and convenient social systems, and environmental problems such as climate change. While working to resolve these issues, we launched our corporate brand "TOMOWEL" in 2018, for growing sustainably and soundly and for continuing to be a company that society needs.
The "TOMO" in TOMOWEL means "Kyo=together" in Kyodo Printing Co., Ltd., in Japanese and "WEL" means "good, full, familiar" in archaic English. In other words, TOMOWEL represents the desire to "Create a prosperous future while building a good relationship with the people involved."
With this in mind, we, the Kyodo Printing Group, commit to contribute to society by playing a role in the lifestyle, culture, and information industries.
